Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Journal of Academic Advancement welcomes submission of research papers / articles from around the world from the fields of Accounting, Commerce, Finance, Management, Entrepreneurship, Business Ethics, Banking, Insurance, Financial Services and Global Economy, Social Sciences including Social Responsibility, Sustainability and other allied areas. 

Submission Preparation Checklist – As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission’s compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors who do not adhere to the guidelines given below.

  1. GUIDELINES FOR AUTHOR(S)

Authors are kindly requested to submit the full Research Paper / Article via email  in (.doc or .docx) format including results, tables, figures and references to editor@kbsaa.org. The Research Paper /Article should be original and previously unpublished. 

It should be only in English, we are not processing research papers / articles in any other languages.

The Research Paper /Article should contain an abstract of around 300 words. The abstract should not include any tables / figures. The abstract should be followed by 3 – 5 keywords.

The Research Paper /Article should be well-organised to have Title page, Abstract with Keywords, Introduction, Literature Survey, Problem Definition / Research Question, Research Methodology, Findings / Results, Interpretation / Discussion, Conclusion and References.

The Research Paper /Article must contain a cover page including Title, Contributor(s) Full Name, Designation, Affiliation, E-mail ID, Contact along with the Contributor(s) recent scanned photograph (within 30 KB) as email attachment.

The Research Paper /Article should be in MS Word using Times New Roman (12 font size) with 1.5 spacing in A4 size The margins should be kept 1” on all sides.

The Research Paper /Article should be restricted to maximum 4500 words (including references, notes, appendices, tables and figures).

A maximum of three (03) Contributor(s) are allowed per paper. One Contributor can submit only one Research Paper /Article (either Single or Joint).

The Research Paper /Article shall undergo the Double Blind Peer Reviewed Contributor(s) shall be sole responsible for plagiarism detected in their paper. The paper should contain no statement which is defamatory, abusive or is in violation of any existing law.

The Research Paper /Article will be numbered and sent to the review committee for review-report. The author will be intimidated of the review and the process will take a maximum period of 7 – 15 days.

All figures should be clearly presented with adequate resolution. 

All tables should be numbered in sequence. The table number should be bold and correctly given. The table width and cell sizes should be uniform, and all information should be centered. The number of tables should be specified over the tables.

The Research Paper /Article should not exceed more than 15 pages unless it is necessary.

  1. REFERENCES

APA style should be followed for references. The references section should be the last section of the article, and it should be formatted as follows:
